Hello Everyone,
First, thank you for taking the time to read my petition against UPS.
The purpose is hold UPS accountable to their customers who entrust them with their valuables and expect them arrive safe and sound. Two weeks ago UPS broke this promise to me and my family when my TV arrived in little pieces. I filed a claim with UPS and they promise to replace the TV. Since that time, UPS has decided that they will only refund me the cost of shipping.
I truly believe what UPS has done is wrong and I seek to make them take responsibility for their actions by taking action of my own with your help. I hope you will sign this petition and if you like pass it on to a friend and have them sign on as well.
Thank you for you time.
Tasha

| Wendy Barreno | Hopefully UPS will recognize the importance of providing safe shipping for customers. | |
| Homara Tejeda | This is extremely unfair, UPS is proud to be a first class shipping company but where is the first class service? The worst part of this situation is that Tasha had insurance therefore the value of her television and shipping cost should be reimburse to her until then all my shipments will now be service thru FedEx. | |
| Valisha Smile | Since the TV was insured for its value, then do the right thing and issue paymet for the value of the TV. | |
| Justin Negron | UPS should cover the cost of the shipping and the value of the product damaged. With commercial accounts when a client receives a product from a commercial vendor and it arrives damaged, the commercial account is refunded the cost of the product. At that time the commercial account would refund the client or provide it with a new product, leaving both satisfied. Considering public consumer shipping rates are higher than what a commercial account pays, it makes no sense that they cannot protect the customer's interests. Lastly, they are admitting some sort of cupability here by refunding the shipping, so why aren't they covering the damaged item? | |

| Joshua Murphrey | I recently shipped using FedEx, and though they broke stuff, they were quick to issue me a refund for the damages. | |
| Dustin LaLena | UPS has failed on their commitments to me in the past as well. I have even gone so far as to not purchase products that require UPS for shipping. I have only recently considered using them again. But I certainly won't now. Shame to UPS for failing to honor their commitments. If people pay for the insurance, it should actually be used to make someone whole. I just wonder if they are violating any particular state insurance laws. | |
