Release "Ishtar" on DVD
To/Against/For: Sony PicturesThe infamous box office flop "Ishtar" starring Warren Beatty, Dustin Hoffman and Isabelle Adjani from 1987, has never been released on DVD in the United States. It was released around the world but not in the USA. I suggest Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to release the film in a special edition DVD somewhere in late 2009 or early 2010 which I think the studio should do it. Please get it released in the USA because the film has earned a cult following in recent years.

Paul Williams said in an interview that they recorded it in a studio with a complete orchestra etc. but after the film got destroyed by the critics Williams said Beatty decided to not release the soundtrack. The songs are the best part. I'm DYING to listen to it!! | |
