MCPS Budget Petition
To/Against/For: Removal of Non-Local Buses
There are some major budget cuts and changes going on in Montgomery County, or MoCo, MD. That's right, a new transportation bill introduced by Jerry Weast, Superintendent of Schools, is introduced. Jerry Weast wants to cut all non-local bus transportation funded by the county. The final bill will be voted on in early June, but we have less time than that. The bill's work-shop dates are at the end of January. Please help students like me who care continue to ride our buses safely to school.
