How can Lalit Modi be suspended without a respectable hearing?
How can BCCI which comprises of vested interest parties with major conflict of interest have the authority to suspend Modi when they themselves have flouted the same rules they are accusing Modi of flouting?
How can there be an objective, independant probe and assessment of all involved when BCCI assumes power and clearly has guys who have misused power, access to information and have taken decisions for personal benefits
Who will probe the Rajiv Shukla - SRK connection, the Srinivasan-Chennai Super Kings connection, the Pawar-IPL and Patel-IPL connections, the absolving of responsibility by Niranjan Shah, Arun Jaitley, Arindham Chaudhury, Shashank Manohar, all 3 cricketers and Rajiv Shukla? What were they all doing when the IPL mess was happening?
Why should they insist that revealing Kochi franchisee details was against secrecy law? Why should franchisee details not be made public?
What do they have to say to Modi\'s insistence several times earlier on more transparency and information?
Who will probe Congress interests in saving NCP?

| Miriam | There is no rule of law in India. Even Supreme Court is subverted to islamic cause. I hope the evil regime and institutionalized corruption ends soon for the benefit of ordinary citizens. | |
| G.Calamannil | Modi is a very corrupt man. I am surprised that there are people ready to support him!! Convicted fror kidnapping and drug possession in the U.S., you want to make a criminal into a hero? | |
| Abhirup | Almost everyone in IPL is corrupted some or the other way.Be it Shahrukh khan or sharad pawar or praful patel.Where from SRK gets so much money. Will he still deny his links with underworld. This people will never be questoined because of their proximity with congress.Modi is being made the soft target because they fear of spilling out of BIGWIG's names. | |
| J. Wilson | Pawar should be stripped of the post, what has he got to do with the richest sporting body, while his focus should be people service. Congress men are going all length, like they have done all these years, to protect their own self interest at the cost of country's image, thousands of jobs and revenue. They will buy court also and call it as lawfully done. Suspend Pawar, Disolve BCCI, Re-instate IPL with Players governing and non-profit trusts, Disolve Congress as Gandhi mentioned, rewrite all history books on facts and not on what Brits told or wrote, Give more and equal power to states, review all laws... and so on. The issue is so deep routed only a revolution can make the change. Otherwise any venture will fail, how will you know the truth if people like Modi did something wrong or not if the system accusing him cant be trusted an iota! | |
| Vishal | I think everyone deserves to be given a fair chance . | |
| Dany | This is not fair, this guy created IPL, marketed it and ran it. What happened with ICL? They had big money and great admin to do stuff, was it sucessful? No... Whatever said and done, Modi may/maynot be clean, neither is anyone in the BCCI. Let the courts decide what has to be done and not someone corrupt already. Give him a chance to explain. Or better still if Modi is clean let him bring out people who are corrupt and show us the cricket lovers what to trust and what not to. | |
| Keshav | Modi may be guilty, but let that be decided in a court of law, not a kangaroo court. Let the one who is innocent cast the first stone. The BCCI itself is ridden with corruption... hang those guys too | |
| Indophile | Looks like an hurried act of vengence rather than a result of methodical and balanced review of Modi's performance. | |
| Rajesh Kumar | The way this case is being handled, I feel the group who has expelled Mr. Lalit Modi are scared of getting exposed. Prima facie, evidence suggest that Mr. Sharad Pawar as well as Mr Prafulla Patel is also involved in the whole affair. The statement of BCCI president that the entire affair was being handled by Mr. Lalit Modi and all the other individuals of the governing body are innocent, is a big farce. The entire team of BCCI sholud be sacked for act of ommission and commission. Then only a fair investigation can be expected. The BCCI has been since long being misused by politicians and business leaders to suit their own interest. The so called expert cricketer as a member of the group are more of cosmetics in nature. Majority of them are spineless and fall in line for some advantage which they get as a part of the yes team. | |
| swami | True. BCCI should be suspended. Who can do it? All are goons - Rajiv Shukla took 10 crores from SRK to give him bid. Srinivas has direct vested interest. Pataudi's son bid. Even in a simple IPO there is a declaration that relatives are not allowed - what is this??? ALL BCCI must be suspended. What is sports minister doing? |
