| Stephen Carey | I personally don't mind uniforms, but it's the type of uniforms we wear that I dislike. The whole certain colored polos and only khaki pants, they just suck. If we took any part in any voting, I'm sure that this school would be better. I doubt that anybody really feels appropriate in the uniforms that our school endorses. And, research shows that children happen to study and do better in school, when comfortable. That's why I twitch around and never sit still when I am in class. I wouldn't mind us being able to wear any non-labeled polo shirt and no-hole jeans. That would be comfortable, and still appropriate. It's one thing to enforce a uniform policy, but it's a whole other story to enforce crap like socks! Come on! We are probably the only county with sock laws enforced! FO REAL. if someone wanted to kill someone with any type of weapon, i'm sure they still could do it. uniforms are just invading our personal opinion and conforming us to an unreal fantasy that will never happen. our school will never be 100% safe or drug free, so whats the point? | |
