No Drilling in South Fayette Residential Zones
To/Against/For: Against Drilling Near Schools or HomesCitizens Petition for Action by our Local Government Representatives
The citizens of South Fayette are highly concerned about the environmental and infrastructure potential impact to our community created by the Marcellus Shale Drilling Industry.
To Our South Fayette Commissioners: We respectfully request that your body enact the most restrictive local zoning ordinances possible in order to prevent any and all negative environmental and infrastructure impact to our community caused by Marcellus Drilling Activities. We do not want drill sites anywhere near our schools or homes.

Not only should people be concerned about the air pollution but the noise. Drilling goes on 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. We live in a community that requires approval for a small fence to be put in a yard because we want the neighborhood to look beautiful. What about the eye sore this drilling site will be. Please vote to restrict drilling to industrial areas only. | |
