| Raychael Kukulka | I OPPOSE THE REZONING OF GRE!!!! | |
| David Ward | I am opposed to the rezoning. It is a short sighted band-aid approach to a larger issue that creates more problems than it solves. | |
| Craig Schmidt | Oppose the rezoning! | |
| Tracie Lewis | Absolutely oppose rezoning of GRE. Kids should not have to say goodbye to their friends. McKamy is already split into two middle schools; bus them to FMS and make construction of new middle school a priority. A site has been selected - what is the hold up?? | |
| Gary Colbert | Rezoning the GRE as planned is absolutely crazy. The school board has offered one "solution" to a much more deep seeded problem. It is the boards responsibility to develop plans B,C or D. They want us to do their job. This board was elected in to office and needs to be elected out. This transition that our kids will be put through (and I believe you have already decided to go with) WILL crumble support networks the kids have built over some of the most formative years in their lives. It could initiate academic problems, behavior problems, health problems. All of this without mentioning negative outside influences that will eventually be moved to the new LISD 9th and 10th grade facility. I vehemently oppose the rezoning especially after hearing "that every little bit helps" Ms. Kyer. You are dividing not only kids or schools but communities. Does this ring a bell for anyone on the board? | |
| Brian Eckard | Oppose rezoning | |
| Gina Schmidt | Oppose rezoning. | |
| Tasya Fernandez | Opposed | |
| Mary Catherine Engman | I strongly oppose the rezoning of Garden Ridge. I feel the biggest issue lies within McKamy and LISD needs to consider the full picture. This will only put a small bandaid on the real wound!!! It is not saving enough or making a large enough impact to warrant this re-zoning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
| cathy cromer | I am opposed to the rezoning for GRE. |
