Online Petition to Reinstate Full-Time Nurses at UGCLC and WPCLC
To/Against/For: Bright Horizons Child Learning Centers at UG & WPDear Parents at WPCLC,
This petition was circulated in the UGCLC for signatures during last week as a paper copy. I was extending that effort to WPCLC as well, since I had heard a number of interested parents wanting to help out in resolving this situation. Paper copies of the petition placed at the WPCLC yesterday, were removed by the center staff to avoid parents from having access to the petition. Kindly use this online forum to sign the petition so that our kids can have a better experience at the UG and WP Child Learning Centers.
Early this Month, Bright Horizon Families were delivered a letter with the following statement,
"The nurse role will be reduced to a 20 hour per week position at each center. Therefore, one nurse will be shared among the WP and UG centers and will split their time as necessary."
The Bright Horizon Families would like to petition to overturn the decision to cut the nurse hours and re-instate full-time nurses at the UGCLC and WPCLC centers. The parents would like to request a face to face meeting to discuss management's plans and decision making.
