boycott lone star steakhouse
To/Against/For: hateful food service workerstoday at around 1 pm, i went to lone star steakhouse, cranberry township (mars, pa) restaurant. two visits ago, i received horrendous service - and this time was no different. my steak arrived at my table in over 20 minutes and at a lukewarm temperature. none of my letters appear to be getting through to any restaurant with lackadaisical servers, no matter how professional the letter may be (and no matter how vulgar the letter may be). maybe instead of wasting my time at the casino, i will keep myself entertained by ordering dinners at area restaurants and leaving once 10 or 15 minutes have passed without the food showing up.
i am healing from a heartbreak, i have just been raped by my new love - i cry all the time because i had so much love and trust, but i had been duped. your employees should NOT mess around with a rape victim. you see, i have spent ten thousand dollars on the slots at the local casino within the last four months with absolutely nothing to show for it - and i do not expect to be treated at restaurants like only negros should be treated. i have been raped of $10,000 dollars, i should not be played with and forced to wait almost 30 minutes for my food.
i suspect that because my server (a young man in his early 20s) saw a groupon on the table, he knew that i was a cheapskate and that i would be getting $10 off my order. i suspect that because of this, he thought it was obligatory to provide me with an apparent lack of service. almost 30 minutes for a steak/salad wedge dish (five pieces of steak and lettuce should not a $10 dish make) and a salmon dish.
i feel i had been cheated on the number of steak cuts on my plate, i feel i had been cheated after having to wait over 20 minutes, and i demand that lone star saloon give me my money back.

(that website is to expose giant eagle's unprofessionalism, i am not opposed to taking lone star's name and creating a website to alert the world of my experiences. giant eagle may have experienced a tremendous boycott, i am just warning lone star saloon of what bad publicity can do)
