We're against Metropolitan Transportation Authority to cut B51 bus service.
Currently, B51 runs on weekdays only between Downtown Brooklyn and City Hall in Manhattan.
B51 bus provides lifeline of eldery and disable who cannot use subways or buses. It is also popular bus for Chinese resident who also goes these lines. It is alternate bus when elevators at subway stations are out of service at ADA stations.
We urgue you to keep B51 BUS.

| Delaine Davis | I have been riding the B51 since the early 90's. The B51 should be used as a model for Stress Reduction. When I arrive at the office, I feel like I have been chauffered. We need more B51 buses, not less. Thank you. Delaine D. - Brooklyn, NY | |
| Norma | The B51 provides a vital service to the disabled, elderly an other commuters who regularly relay on this service. Many of these riders cannot take the train and depend on this service to travel to work, medical appointments and other destinations. This is a transportation option that needs to stay in place, it is already limited to weekdays only and stops running at 7:40 pm. Please leave this line in place because it is so valuable to those who use it. | |
| Margie Harris | I rely on the B51 bus to get me to and from work. I am 66 years old and manipulating the subway stairs is difficult for me at this stage in my life. I ask that please keep the bus running. I, and other elderly, and handicapped bus riders rely on this bus. | |
| ejr | the only option for those of us who are claustrophobic and unable to use the subway. how will i get to work?! if anything, service should be expanded on this line. so valuable, and frequented by the same group of people every day. please, please don't take away my B51!! | |
| Matthew P Whitted | I want this bus to keep running the subway is to crowded at night | |
| Shavonn DuBois | Please do not cut this bus. it is one of the only buses that goes from brooklyn, to manhattan and is a vital part of some hardworking New Yorker's commute, along with the elderly and disabled. This is a transportation option that needs to stay in place, it is already limited to weekdays only and stops running at 7:40 pm. Please leave this line in place because it is so valuable to those who use it. i don't know how I would get to work without it, what do you do when the train is not an option or a cab twice a day, atleast 5 days a week. Please keep the B51 bus line. Thank you, Shavonn' D. Brooklyn, NY B51 Rider | |
